A HOMELESS alcoholic has been jailed for starting a fire outside a furniture store which cost the business £62,000.
Drunken George Hocking, aged 35, lit the fire outside the Big Pine Shop because he was cold, a court heard.
But the blaze burned out of control and spread to the store in Exeter Street.
The fire damaged stock worth £22,000 and cost the company sales of £40,000 over eight weeks, Plymouth Crown Court heard.
