A THUG has been jailed for repeatedly stabbing a man in the neck and leg with a broken bottle as he begged for his life.
Mohamed Omar, aged 20, came within a "hair's breadth" of killing his victim in a horrific street attack.
High on drugs and alcohol, Omar picked up and smashed a bottle and struck Gareth Haynes with it five or six times, Plymouth Crown Court heard.
Omar left his victim staggering around and bleeding heavily and went to a friend's house to arm himself with a knife.
