A MUM has appeared in court accused of poisoning her daughter.
Rose Jones, aged 30, faced city magistrates charged with giving a strong prescription painkiller to the toddler and another girl.
She answered two charges of unlawfully and maliciously administering a poison or other destructive or noxious thing with intent to injure, aggrieve or annoy children.
Jones allegedly gave them the strong painkiller Tramadol between November 2014 and June 2015.
