A man accused of killing a grandfather at a Plymouth pub has been refused bail by a Crown Court judge.
Ashley Lawman, aged 25, has been charged with the manslaughter of John Olver after an incident at The Clarence in Stonehouse.
Mr Olver, aged 60, suffered a head injury at about 1am on Sunday July 2.
Lawman, who was arrested nearby, appeared before city magistrates the next day. He has not entered any plea and was remanded in custody.
