A man who duped hopeful tenants into handing over thousands of pounds in bonds and up-front rent has been jailed - after claiming his young child had died in Plymouth.
Neil Jackson, 35, from Penylan in Cardiff, collected the money from hopeful tenants after they responded to an advert for a property to rent on Gumtree.
He lied to people as they went to view the property in Penylan which was actually his family home, in some cases claiming it was being rented out as his family were moving...
