A MAN faces jail after assaulting a woman in breach of a suspended prison sentence.
George Blampey, aged 43, avoided going behind bars for headbutting, punching and kicking a man in a city bar.
He was handed a four-month suspended prison sentence in April last year – and warned by a judge that any repetition of violence would land him in jail.
Blampey, of Weston Park Road, Peverell, has now been convicted by city magistrates of the common assault of a woman on July 18.
