A PROLIFIC offender who stole steaks from two shops has been jailed for eight weeks.
Chronic heroin addict Marcus Easterbrook, aged 33, has more than 70 previous offences on his record, Plymouth magistrates heard.
He pleaded guilty to the theft of two beef brisket steaks worth £21 from Aldi in Union Street on March 7.
Homeless Easterbrook also admitted theft of two packets of sirloin steak from Sainsbury's in Torpoint the next day.
