A MAN has appeared in court accused of helping to grow a large cannabis crop.
Trevor Jones, aged 45, faced Plymouth magistrates charged in connection with 252 plants.
He pleaded not guilty to being concerned in the production of a Class B drug on January 7.
Magistrates ruled that his trial should be heard by a judge and jury.
Jones, of Kit Hill Crescent, Ernesettle, was released on unconditional bail to appear for a preliminary hearing at Plymouth Crown Court on August 24.
