A 27-YEAR-OLD has been cleared of assaulting a man after more than two years.
Peter Milton appeared at Plymouth Crown Court for a trial.
He pleaded not guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm on July 17, 2013.
But the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence against him.
Recorder Donald Tait ordered that a not guilty verdict be returned.
Mr Milton, of Copleston Road, Derriford, was released from the dock.
