POLICE are seeking witnesses after a mob of thugs attacked a young man in a Plymouth city centre street, slashing open his neck with a broken bottle.
The 22-year-old was outside the Co-operative store in New George Street at around 10pm on Tuesday , when he was set upon by between four and six men in what police have described as an "unprovoked attack".
