A WHISTLE-BLOWER who exposed a fraud plot at Princess Yachts asked for a car from the company as a reward, a court heard.
Sub-contractor Steven Crombie alerted the luxury boatmaker – leading to the discovery of a series of complex scams allegedly adding up to more than £1 million.
Crombie told the jury he was worried that Princess Yachts was being overcharged for the jobs that his groundworks company was doing.
He sent emails under a pseudonym to senior managers.
