POLICE are appealing for information after a Plymouth man was repeatedly punched and kicked by five others in the city centre.
The 25-year-old was walking along Cornwall Street, near the Specsavers and Barclay's Bank, sometime shortly after midnight on September 27.
He was approached by five men, one of whom asked him for a cigarette.
When he refused he was punched in the face and knocked to the ground, whereupon all five men kicked him repeatedly.
