A MAN caught with cocaine has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Christopher Beavan, aged 53, was acquitted of dealing the Class A drug after he was found with 41 wraps on April 5 last year.
He also denied simple possession but was found guilty of having the drug by a jury following a trial.
Beavan, of Ullswater Crescent in Derriford, had earlier admitted theft of a jacket from Debenhams in the city centre on November 20.
