A MAN who attacked two revellers in a nightclub has been handed a suspended prison sentence.
Ben Simmons, aged 22, had denied assaulting the men causing actual bodily harm in the Union Rooms in Union Street on February 8.
But he changed his plea on the eve of his trial at Plymouth Crown Court.
Simmons, of Ferndale in Mid-Glamorgan in Wales, pleaded guilty to attacking Daniel Ives and Robert Shaw.
Recorder Jim Tindal gave Simmons a 16-month prison sentence suspended for two years.
