A CONVICTED drug dealer who dodged bail was finally dragged before court after an appeal in The Herald. A judge told 20-year-old Samuel Hughes that he gave "ridiculous" excuses for missing probation appointments – including that he had hayfever or sunstroke. Judge Ian Lawrie activated his suspended prison sentence and sent him to jail for 19 months.
