A HOMELESS man set fire to the outside of a store selling pine furniture.
George Hocking, aged 35, lit paper at night and left without properly extinguishing the flames, a court heard.
Hocking pleaded guilty to arson when he appeared in custody at Plymouth Crown Court.
He started a fire outside The Big Pine Shop in Exeter Street in the city centre on July 3.
