THE likely demise of Plympton police station due to budget cuts has been met with dismay among townspeople.
The building in Station Road is set to be closed down in the next five years as part of the force's bid to save £29 million from its current budget.
Other stations earmarked for closure include Beacon Park, Ivybridge as well as Torpoint, Looe, Callington and Liskeard.
