A MAN has been jailed for six months for ransacking a café and assaulting a woman.
David Hornby, aged 32, appeared before Plymouth magistrates to admit burgling the restaurant.
He denied the common assault of a woman but was found guilty after a trial.
Hornby, of Stockton-on-Tees, attacked the woman on February 21 in an incidence of domestic violence.
He burgled D and M's café in Frankfort Gate in the city centre on March 18 or March 19.
