A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of arson after firefighters were called to a derelict nightclub in the city centre.
Fire crews were called at 7.30pm tonight to the former Good Companions club in Mayflower Street after receiving reports of smoke issuing from the building.
Crews from Greenbank, Crownhill and Plymstock, together with the aerial platform from Crownhill, attended the scene while police placed a cordon to keep traffic at bay.
