NEIGHBOURS of a well-liked elderly man, found dead after his mobility scooter fell into a ditch in a Plympton park, have spoken of their shock at his sudden passing.The man, named locally as Ken Deacon, was found in St Mary's park off Linketty Lane at 6.15am this morning by a passer-by who then alerted the police.Emergency services closed off Linketty Lane while they sealed the area and salvaged the scooter and the body of the Royal Navy veteran, who was in his late 70s.Neighbours were united in...
