A MAN has admitted carrying a steak knife in a city centre street.
Ben Gregg, aged 25, pleaded guilty before Plymouth magistrates to having a bladed article on April 21.
Gregg had the wooden-handled steak knife without good reason or lawful authority in Royal Parade.
Magistrates ruled that the offence was so serious it should be sentenced by a judge.
Gregg, of Radcliffe Close, Southway, was released on unconditional bail to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on October 2.
