Police shot a man with a baton round after he attempted to grab a knife during an incident in Ernesettle, they have confirmed.
Armed officers were called by paramedics to a property in Biggin Hill, near the junction of Budshead Road, at just before 9pm on Thursday.
A police spokesman said the call was related to concerns for a male at a semi-detached property.
