Devon and Cornwall's top cop has backed a campaign to create a memorial to officers who die in the line of duty.
The nationwide UK Police Memorial fundraising campaign was launched earlier this week and aims to build a new memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
The memorial will be inscribed with the names of over 1,400 police officers and staff who have died from injuries they sustained while carrying out their lawful duties.
