The South West's 'crime czar' says she will not step down despite being under police investigation as she has done nothing wrong and the process has not affected her work.
Writing exclusively in today's Western Morning News Alison Hernandez says: "we live in a system where you are innocent until proven guilty".
She adds: "I was elected to serve as your commissioner and that is what I have done, and will continue to do."
