A wide range of criminal offences now have new guidelines for how they should be punished, including speeding, rail fare evasion and skipping school.
Sentencing guidelines for 27 different offences came into force yesterday, April 24, for JPs to use when deciding what sentences should be given down in magistrates' courts, reports the
