A 62-year-old man from Plymouth who downloaded thousands of indecent images and videos of young children has been told to "confront some of the devils within".
Michael John Barry, of Cattedown Road, admitted having more than 2,000 indecent images and videos of children and entered guilty pleas to three charges
at Plymouth Magistrate's Court earlier this month.
On Friday he appeared at Plymouth Crown Court for sentencing after his arrest almost 18 months ago.
