A pensioner who was caught on dashcam driving the wrong way down the fast last of a the M5 for five miles died four days later, an inquest heard.
Graham Teesdale, 83, was suffering from a lung infection and kidney disease when he became confused as he joined the M5 in the wrong direction.
His Vauxhall Vectra was filmed by an on-coming car as it sped down the outside lane - sparking two pile-ups in his wake involving eight vehicles.
