Police have launched an investigation following the death of an elderly woman in Padstow yesterday.
Officers were called at around 1.30pm after concerns were raised for the welfare of the woman at the address at St Merryn.
Police and ambulance attended the scene and found the woman in her 80s deceased at the scene.
Officers have yet to formally identify the woman. Next of kin have been informed.
