A LORRY driver has decided not to explain to a jury what happened in the seconds before he hit and killed a Plymouth cyclist on the A38.
Defendant John Noble, aged 43, is not taking to the stand to give evidence in his trial.
Cyclist Christopher Dennehy, aged 58, was hit by the nearside of his lorry and thrown from his bicycle on the Exeter-bound carriageway just outside Plymouth.
The supermarket worker died from multiple injuries to his head and body close to the Lee Mill turn-off.
