A MAN faces jail after taking cash from women and using stolen cheques in a fraud totalling almost £3,000.
Michael Brain, aged 46, went on a spree of six dishonest offences in five months despite having a suspended prison sentence hanging over him.
Plymouth magistrates locked him up until he faces a judge at Crown Court.
Brain, of Merrivale Road, Beacon Park, admitted stealing seven cheques in Launceston in June or July.
