A CROOKED care home manager has been jailed for taking more than £25,000 from elderly residents.
Sandra Brown, aged 65, took control of vulnerable people's finances and used their cash on personal expenses such as spa treatment, a new television and parking tickets, Plymouth Crown Court heard.
Brown spent five years abusing the trust placed in her as manager of the Manor Cottage home in Paignton to take £25,661 from four elderly residents.
