I HAVE a confession to make. My name is Max Channon, and I am a tombstoner. Well, if I'm honest, I'm more of an ex-tombstoner these days. I don't like to admit it, or act it, but I'm middle-aged - and I've turned into a bit of a wuss. I find the sea just a tad too chilly. Even with a wetsuit. I grew up a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away - the village of Mousehole, Cornwall, during the 1980s, to be precise. A MAN has admitted causing serious injury during an attack. Ian Dunbar, aged 51, pleaded guilty before city magistrates to assault causing actual bodily harm. He attacked Gareth King on July 13. The bench ruled that the case was so serious it should be sentenced by a judge. Dunbar, of St Mary Street, Stonehouse, was released on conditional bail to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on September 25. He must not contact nor approach Mr King.
