Police are warning social media users of bogus advice about thefts at cash machines which is doing the rounds on Facebook.
Kingsbridge Police stuck the 'fake' post on their Facebook page in the hope those who read it won't be fooled by the mis-information.
The post, which has 58 shares and 12 comments features a CCTV image of what appears to be a incident unfolding outside a cash machine, possibly in the USA.

Four men have been remanded by magistrates after appearing on the charge of conspiring to supply 17 kilos of cannabis.

Bags of heroin discovered at property in Plymouth
Police have seized two bags of heroin from a property in Plymouth.
Officers discovered the drugs at an address in Ernesettle yesterday evening.
PC Rich Allen, neighbourhood beat manager for Ernesettle, said the bags woul be sent away for DNA testing in a bid to identify who they belong to.
He added that once the offender is identified, police will "pay them a visit very soon."

The startled woman reported that a man wearing only backpack came out of a churchyard.

The shocking extent of domestic abuse which continues to blight the lives of thousands of people across Plymouth has been laid bare.
New figures from Devon and Cornwall Police show there were 1,285 reports of domestic abuse – an average of more than three a day – in just four city neighbourhoods last year.
Stonehouse had the highest number of recorded incidents in 2016 with 471 followed by Plymouth City Centre (296), Devonport (270) and Stoke (248).
