Man fighting for his life after being hit by 75mph train
A man is fighting for his life after being hit by a train on a pedestrian crossing in an incident which brought Plymouth services to a standstill this morning.
The man was seriously hurt when he was struck by a train travelling at around 75mph shortly after 7.30am.
He is being treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.

A woman has been taken to Derriford Hospital after being hit by a cyclist on a quiet residential street.
The woman, who was a pedestrian, has been left with serious injuries following the incident in Cornwall,
