POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a lit firework was shoved through the letterbox of a second floor flat.
The incident happened at a second floor flat in Westeria Terrace, Beacon Park, between around 11.30pm and midnight on Friday December 11.
Police said that while no-one was in the property at the time of the attack, the firework caused damage to the carpet and wooden door and had potential to cause danger to other people in the flats.
