A SALTASH man accused of defrauding a charity out of around £50,000 is set to face trial next year.
David Carter, of Heskyn View, Tideford, originally faced eight charges of fraud by abuse of position between 2007 and 2011 while he was chief executive officer of the charity V Learning.net which provides education to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds within Devon and Cornwall.
Three of the counts were dismissed when he last appeared at Truro Crown Court on December 11.
