A COURT has ordered the arrest of a man who assaulted and racially abused a Buddhist on a bus – accusing him of being an ISIS terrorist.
Jak Burgess, aged 20, told the innocent Sri Lankan man that he was planning to bomb the vehicle, police said at the time.
Burgess has pleaded guilty to racially-aggravated assault by beating in the city centre on July 3.
City magistrates had originally adjourned sentence for a probation report to be prepared on his background.
