Woodlands near Plymouth are being sealed off after a sheep was attacked by a dog and left badly injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident at Harford, near Ivybridge, on Wednesday.
Farmer Rachel Bailey posted a graphic photo of her injured sheep on social media and urged people to take responsibility for their dogs – adding that as a result of the attack the woodlands are being closed off.
