A HUSBAND and wife have appeared in court accused of a speeding points scam.
Emma Barton, aged 40, allegedly claimed she was the driver of a vehicle when her spouse was at the wheel.
Richard Barton, aged 42, is said to have asked his wife to take the blame as police investigated a suspected speeding offence.
Mrs Barton is accused of trying to take the penalty points which should have gone to her husband.
