A MAN is set to appear in court tomorrow charged with robbing an 89-year-old of his pension money in broad daylight.
The elderly man, who uses a stick, was in Devonport Road, near the bus stop at around 9am on Monday.
He told police he had just collected his pension money at the nearby post office and placed in the pocket of his jacket.
He claimed two men approached him and ripped open his pocket, grabbed the money and fled.
A number of witnesses came forward and two men were later arrested...
