A FORMER licensee burgled a nearby pub in what his own barrister described as an "incredibly stupid, drunken offence".
Paul Braidwood, who has since left the Clipper Inn in Union Street, and accomplice Luke Richards, put black tights over their heads to drag a fruit machine into the street.
They raided the Duchy of Cornwall pub late at night – even though its landlady had taken Richards "under her wing", Plymouth Crown Court heard.
