A CHILDMINDER who drove two young boys to school while more than three times over the alcohol limit has been spared jail.
Kay Elson, aged 46, told a court she "bitterly regrets" her decision to drive the youngsters, both aged under seven, after a night of drinking.
Magistrates said they were "extremely shocked" by the offence, but decided to impose a suspended prison term of six weeks and ban her from the road for more than two years.
