PLYMOUTH criminals may face a new eye-in-the-sky weapon in the police's armoury as it begins trials with drones.
Devon and Cornwall Police have joined with Dorset police to launch a six-month trial of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) more commonly known as drones.
The aim is to help officers involving in a range of policing operations including missing people searches and crime scene photography.
