THE PLYMOUTH region's police force could be set to axe more than 700 officers and all of its PCSOs, it is feared.
As previously reported in The Herald, Devon and Cornwall Police is being forced to make an estimated £54million worth of savings thanks to Government cuts.
Police stations including Plympton, Ivybridge, Torpoint and Looe are all set to be closed down and sold off under the cost-cutting plans.
