A DEVON man who was allegedly assaulted by three men and then hit by a car has woken from a coma after 24 days.
Tom Coe, 22, was found unconscious in Cowick Street in Exeter shortly before 4.20am on Saturday, August 8, and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
His mother has spoken of her joy at hearing her son talk again but doctors have warned he may never fully recover from the horrific injuries he suffered.
