THREE people were arrested in Bodmin on Sunday after a man was seen walking the streets armed with a machete and a baseball bat.
Among them was a 41-year-old woman who was detained for allegedly biting a police officer.
Devon and Cornwall Police said tasers were drawn but not used in response to the incident, which happened just after 10am on Fore Street.
Around 10 officers arrived at the scene within minutes of receiving a 999 call.
