A YOUNG woman has described the moment she wrestled a violent 'fighting dog' to the ground on a Plymouth street to save it from killing her pet.
Megan May Roach says she was taking her dog JK for a walk in St Judes when a Staffie-type dog set upon the smaller pooch.
Posting on Facebook, she said it bit into her pet's neck and shook him in the air before she was able to leap on the animal and prise open its jaws with her bare hands.
