POLICE are investigating after two cars burst into flames outside a Plymouth shop.
One eyewitness described the blaze as being like a "popping flame ball".
The incident happened in the car park behind the Co-operative store in Devonport Road.
The fire, which broke out close to flats beside the Dundas Street car park, happened shortly after 8.20pm on Friday.
Several people dialled 999 to report the blaze and a fire crew from Camels Head was sent to the scene.
