A LORRY driver has been spared jail for killing a cyclist after reaching across his cab for a mobile phone.
John Noble, aged 43, caused the death of supermarket worker Christopher Dennehy when his vehicle drifted to the left into the bike on the A38 near Plymouth.
Churchgoer Noble had reached across to play a sermon on his mobile moments before the accident near Smithaleigh.
