A WELSHMAN tried to pass off fake Scottish £20 notes in Plymouth, a court heard.
Donald Jobe, aged 30, faced city magistrates to plead guilty to attempting to use the notes knowing they were counterfeit.
He tried to pass off two Scottish £20 notes as genuine on March 22 and twice on March 24.
Jobe also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to police bail in Plymouth on June 1.
He also admitted three motor vehicle offences back in his hometown of Barry in South Glamorgan.
